Miley Ray Cyrus' real title is Destiny Hope Cyrus. Born on November 23, 1992, in Franklin Tennessee the state of Tennessee, she was raised within Thompson's Station Tennessee by Tish Cyrus. Miley has five brothers and sisters. Two older siblings and a younger sister. The parents of her named her after they hoped she would achieve greatness. The nickname she was given in her childhood, Smiley, due to her cheerful disposition later changed to Miley. Her father was a Democratic politician named Ron Cyrus. Cyrus began her education at Heritage Elementary School in Tennessee. Her family moved out of Tennessee and into Toronto Canada in the year she turned eight years old, and Billy Ray Cyrus took on the role of Doc (2001), starring the TV show. Cyrus made the decision to begin acting at that time. Her first role came alongside her dad as Doc Doc (2001). She also scored a small role on Tim Burton's Big Fish (2003). Cyrus was the lead character on Hannah Montana (2007), the Disney television series that follows an unassuming young woman who lives an alternate life of a star. Again, her father was on the show with her. This show became a hit and sold out tours, hit records and deals with merchandise followed. Cyrus was a teenager-making star. Cyrus began taking on other roles following the success she had in the film Hannah Montana (2006). The roles included Ronnie Miller (in The Last Song in 2010) as well as Lola (in LOL (2012)) as well as Demi Moor.
